Patagonia Coast To Coast is a journey of over 7,500 km born from the initiative of two experienced cyclists (cyclo), share the same passion and the different trips behind cycling solo: Paolo Pagni (7 times of Santiago pilgrim MTB) and Enrico Roberto Carrara (Via Francigena, Camino de Santiago, the Holy Land, Caponord).
The next venture of the two, which will start in October 2016, is to reach Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, starting from the Iguazu Falls. It is more than 4,600 kilometers through Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina with an altitude difference of 14,611 mt that Paolo and Enrico estimate to face in 100 days.
But the journey will not end here. The return project, if the legs and head permit, plans to start from Punta Arenas to Santiago de Chile. Will other 20,885 mt of coated altitude of 3300.5 kilometers to ride on a path not at all simple: the Cordillera of the Chilean Andes.
